The ability of Christians to foster children has been thrown into doubt after the High Court made clear today that it would not intervene if local authorities stop Christians with orthodox views on sexuality from becoming foster parents.
Clarification had been sought from the High Court over whether married Christian couple Eunice and Owen Johns could continue to foster children after Derby City Council blocked their application because the couple had said they would not be willing to promote the practice of homosexuality to young children. So, a Christian couple can’t raise foster children because they would teach what the Bible says about homosexuality? What is going on here? Every day, it seems, homosexuality is being elevated and celebrated. A few years ago, Pastor John MacArthur preached that God has abandoned America, due to our sins of abortion and homosexuality.
